Work in Progress 0.6 and General Project Information

  • *Moved items that will most likely not show up as scenes but took time to work on down into MISC. Relabeled MISC section.

Announcements:

  • Looking for name suggestions for four male characters and future girls.
  • Shout out to the community and specifically Buddylj1990 for helping me resolve my 1GB file size dilemma so quickly and thank you for reading the Devlog!
  • Shout out to F95Zone for hosting my visual novel and keeping it up to date. Appreciate the interactions there and specifically appreciate Circle0Trick for interacting both here and there.
  • I was not sure I would start work on 0.6 due to file size restraints, so thank you!

TLDR for Version Release Notes:

  • Completed most of the script and images for Violet. 
    • Should be 1 UB scene
  • Spent time on a persistent joke related to cake to make individual "good" game over images.
    • I think there are two scenes that need this change right now.
    • This may lead to individualized "bad" game over images in the future.
  • Working on script and images for Vicky with Sandra. Currently anal sex, analvore.
    • Deciding on if doing other routes. Potentially oralvore w/ fulltour or cockvore. Both are on the script.
    • Reworked Vicky's design a bit. Minor changes to previous images and a few images were replaced. 
  • Completed script and images for a now-named futa-succubus - Sandra. Observable cockvore route.
    • Sandra has two forms: basically dragon-like girl and futa-succubus. 
    • Trending toward organizing futa girls into one category under Lilith's space.
  • Did some preliminary design of four additional unnamed male preys.
    • One is briefly being used during the intro for Sandra.
  • Completed work on Lilith - very brief soulvore.
    • Lilith is a collector of deviants much like Emma. Lilith is replacing Emma's original purpose as a mainly nonparticipant. Lilith will have a space similar to Emma's. 
    • Lilith's space will have other prey characters present and have certain differences in rules. This will allow for scenes of multi prey, unaware, and collateral damage style scenarios.
    • Lilith's space will unlock after having seen the content warning (no need to experience it) and either died within Emma's space via her AV route or took the lore route.  A new option under Emma's choices will appear "Find a way out." Otherwise, it will be available from the start via cheat/unlock.

Bugs/Images/Changes FIXED -

  • Reimplementation of the intro w/ minor changes: 1 additional image and 1 swapped image.
  • Reimplemented several teaser photos.
  • Fixed a few images for Sydney. No major changes.

MISC Work (Time Spent on Intangible Results):

  • Did some initial design work on a female prey/main character. 
    • Script writing that her route would become the "story mode." 
    • This will most likely not be implemented in 0.6, but I may add her introduction scene which I did the image work and script for. 
    • Discovered there were several things that will be difficult to accomplish via NovelAI when it comes to action scenes between characters. Caused a character to get scrapped and a script to be redone into the new female main character.
      • I wanted gunfire. I got it. It took more time than it was worth.
      • I wanted a twin sister that used swords. I didn't get it. I am saddened. 
        • AI doesn't seem to like the idea of a sword blade touching another character. "You're not supposed to touch the sharp part.
  • Did some design work on a third succubus.
    • Settled on the name of Chelsey.
    • Chelsey is currently intended to be a nice succubus but a bit of a drunkard.
    • I'm going to attempt to have Chelsey and all other succubi inside a shared space. A 'succubus town' accessible via Lilith.
    • This would lead to minor rewrite to Zara (Pink succubus, not implemented).
    • Design work is trending toward succubi being recruitable preds, with a chance of failure, and the four males recruitable as preys.
  • Did some design work on a third succubus.
    • Settled on the name of Chelsey.
    • Chelsey is currently intended to be a nice succubus but a bit of a drunkard.

  • Figured out how to host a larger file with community help.
  • Some under the hood work. Moved many lines of code around and did some organizing. 
    • This results in most lines being dictated as "new," so which will make them not skippable until seen. I apologize for the inconvenience.
  • Moved teasers and updates to the initial start screen. 
    • Teasers related to content warning themes will remain behind the content warning.
    • There is a developer note in Lilith's space. It will stay there as it relates to why the space exists.
